In Big Pond Small Pond, players must manage expenses and opportunity in order to obtain “Things You Do” and “People You Know” points. Each player chooses either the Big Pond or the Small Pond to play in. Job opportunities earn each player cash, which they can use to play either Things You Do or People You know cards. While the Big Pond favors People You Know cards, the Small Pond favors Things You Do cards. Players must decide if they will tough out the game in their respective (but limited) ponds, or build a Moving Bridge and try to make a new life.
