Hex is a game that asks players to engage purely in strategic combat that pits team against team in a struggle to take control of the center hexagon. Each team consists of a Mover, who controls the team cube, and a Builder, who builds bridges and walls to aid the Mover’s advancement towards the center hexagon and impede the opposing team’s cube. With a delightful plywood aesthetic and easy-to-learn play, Hex is perfect for fans of turn-based combat who are sick of pesky plots and flavor text obstructing their tactical pursuits.
