Created Winter and Spring 2019 for the first UCLA Game Lab Undergraduate Design and Development Research Fellowship. The project was advised by Eddo Stern.

In Idyll, players tend to a farm as they tend to their relationships. As they till, water, and harvest, they must talk to NPCs and advance in their stories or risk losing contact with them. If players neglect their new friends completely, they will become part of the forest, and the player loses the relationships they cultivated for good.
