Located at Broad Art Center at the UCLA Game Lab room 3252During fall quarter of last year, Tyler Neufeld made local headlines by turning his university dorm into a science-fiction themed escape room complete with interlocking puzzles, cosmic set design, and a talking alien puppet. Join us as Tyler takes us behind the scenes of Dorm Scapes: Code Green and other projects, exploring DIY techniques for resourceful worldbuilding and playful challenge with little more than cardboard and paint.
Tyler Neufeld (he/him) is a scenic artist, games designer, and immersive experience creator. He is currently studying playwriting and scenic design as a senior at the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television. He also enjoys workshopping plays at The Playwright’s Circle with Untitled Theatre Company and doing improv with Lower Upper Middle Child.
