As a game artist who works primarily outside of typical game engines, such as Unity and Unreal, Nathalie Lawhead’s personalized toolkit for game creation supports her unique aesthetic and game values. In this workshop, Nathalie will introduce us to her arsenal of alternative game-building technologies and techniques. Nathalie will discuss how she uses these unusual design tools and programming languages to produce “weird” games and game-like expressions, and she will show us how we can do the same with our own work.
