< Intimacy >

By Elsie Wang

Intimacy is a two-player game that expresses an intimate human relationship. While the goal of the game is ambiguous, each player uses a single button on a custom controller to make the characters collide with one another. As the characters collide and become closer, they make a sound that can be interpreted as pleasure or pain, while slowly submerging under water. This becomes a metaphor for how intimate relationships can also make one more vulnerable to being hurt..
