In Pursuit, players attempt to scale a mountain while suffering under various afflictions. Players begin the game with two afflictions, which they are not allowed to share with their companions. As they summit the mountain, they can gain more afflictions or become affected by the ailments they already have. Along the way, random drops offer aid; however, each cure only serves one particular kind of affliction. While players are allowed to share aid, they must pay attention to the behavior of other players in order to guess what they suffer from. Only once players have been cured of their afflictions may they share the cards that they have been carrying. The game is won once all players have scaled the mountain.
